On Tuesday, June 21st, the second day of protests by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) demanding Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation continued at Jantar Mantar. Meanwhile, on Tuesday evening, July 26th, several opposition leaders, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, were detained by the Delhi Police while protesting outside the Prime Minister’s residence. Detained leaders were taken to the Mandir Marg police station However, after a few hours, Rahul Gandhi and the other detained leaders were released from Chhatrasal Stadium.
