Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal stated After receiving permission from the district administration, the Congress party not only deposited the ground booking fee but also ordered tents for the event so that they could be set up on time. Nearly 250,000 youth have registered for the “Chhatraon Ki Goonj” program. Therefore, if the government refuses permission to hold the Parade Ground, then Lok Bhavan would be the most suitable venue. “In a democracy, it’s not right to resort to such tactics to stop opposition rallies, but this government believes in dictatorship. If such a decision is made, we will fight it.”
