It is not merely a tourist destination; its purpose is to acquaint future generations with the discipline, indomitable courage, and glorious tales of national service of the Indian Navy.

This project is a vibrant center designed to further instill a sense of national devotion and military honor in the minds of youth.

“Shaurya Vatika Will Teach Future Generations the Price of Freedom”: Rajnath Singh

After inaugurating the Naval Shaurya Vatika, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh stated in his address that this is not an ordinary tourist destination but a vibrant inspirational site, and that this Shaurya Vatika will teach future generations the price of freedom and security.

He said that many may wonder what such a Shaurya Vatika is for in Lucknow, but we need to consider that the sacrifices and daily struggles of our soldiers who protect our borders often leave behind our intimate connection in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh further stated, “It is my constant endeavor that equipment that has served our country for decades be displayed in schools, colleges, and universities after retirement. Because when our new generation sees and touches them, a passion for nation-building will naturally arise within them. This same thought is behind the Naval Shaurya Vatika that stands before you today.”
